Same Journey, New Path

I've discovered something interesting during the months I've failed to post here - my original intent for this blog was fatally flawed. If I want to truly "face my own words," then I can't separate myself from my characters or the worlds in which they live. Those people and places have helped me become who I am today, just as much as I created them.
Yes, there are days when writing offers a sweet escape from the hurt in my heart and other hardships in my "real life," but, more often than not, my stories struggle and rejoice right along with me. The Lord has even allowed Bridget, Jeremy and all my other characters to be my teachers at times, revealing some of His messages and blessings to me that might otherwise be missed.
And so, my dear readers will get to see all aspects of me in more regular posts from now on. Be looking for progress notes, snippets of stories open for preview and comment, personal reflections, insights to share and more...
